This form comes from higher altitudes in areas around Zahedan, Iran, further inland than the regular Silver Nannorrhops, which is mainly found in the costal mountains of Makran. While similar in habit and growth, it can sustain more cold and frost in winter but requires dry conditions. Scientifically, it is unclear to us which name should be applied to this Nannorrhops (N. naudiniana, N. stocksiana, or N. arabica) .
