A moderate-sized species from the mountains of southern Texas and northern Mexico, where it grows to altitudes of 1500 m (4900 ft.). It produces a slender trunk topped by a beautiful rounded crown of sharp-edged, narrow, bluish-green leaves. An easy-to-grow Yucca with good cold hardiness.
